I am an artist from Colorado and currently living in Chicago for school. From an early age, I was inspired by creative people and interested in producing art myself. Only over the last few years has my love for art turned into a passion that I plan to pursue for the rest of my life in some way.
I am attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago studying in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program.
My artwork stems from personal experiences that have significantly changed my life and how I view myself. I often spend a lot of time in my head thinking about other's affect on me as well as my affect on the outside world. My artwork is my way of expressing and understanding my confusing, exciting, sad and honest thoughts and examining how they function in the world versus my own head.
My artwork has been on display twice at the Denver Art Museum, at the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center at Parsons School of Design/The New School in New York City, at the Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota, and in the Cannon Tunnel of the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C.
